There’s no doubt in my mind that being fit and having a fit booty are two of the most important things a person can have. Not only do they look good and feel great, but having a fit body also allows you to have more energy throughout your day. It’s also important to be able to maintain your health in the long run by eating healthy and making exercise a priority. But most people struggle when it comes to finding balance in their life between staying healthy and being able to afford food that is healthy too.
Most healthy food options these days are extremely expensive and eating out in general can really break the bank. That’s why I decided to start making my own meals and making healthier substitutions where I can to save money but still eat well. Below are some of my tips and tricks that I use to make healthy eating affordable and accessible for anyone who wants to get their fitness on!
What Is The Foodie Diet?
The Foodie Diet is a plant-based diet (70% of your diet) that promotes a nutritious, whole foods based diet, as well as avoiding highly processed foods like fast food, junk food and soda. Eating this way has a lot of health benefits including reducing inflammation in the body, weight loss and increased energy just to name a few. Since adopting a plant-based lifestyle and eating mostly fruits and vegetables I have noticed a huge improvement in my energy levels and overall health, not to mention my skin has never looked better!
